Biking The American Tobacco Trail

Yesterday's rains finely subsided giving me the opportunity to get in a little biking combined with a little geocaching. I'd be using the bike to ride the American Tobacco Trail, picking up the geocaches that are along its route. This popular trail was once a railroad line which has now been converted to a multi use trail system for walkers, cyclists, runners, horse riders and geocachers. Caches have sprouted up nearly every 1/10th of a mile along nearly the entire route. Most aren't creative, nor do they take much effort to locate, but that's what draws families here to find them, as well as cachers looking to up their totals. Me, I was just looking for a nice bike ride with a few caches to give me an excuse to dismount and give my butt a much needed respite. I haven't been on a bike much over the last several years and no longer have the ability to sit in the saddle for long periods of time.

Today's Cache Finds:
1. Jivin' with Jack
2. Wimberly Crossing
3. Sure I'll Take a Break
4. Barely Room with a View #3
5. Take another Break
6. Goodwin Road Crossing
7. The Lone Ranger
8. Tunnel of Another Type
9. Matches
10. Down Spout
11. Tonto
12. It's not a Kiwi
13. Ridge Runner
14. Cliff Dweller
