Harris Lake Park is a 680 park situated on a peninsula jutting out into the Shearon Harris Reservoir. Because of its proximity to various trails and miles of shoreline it has an abundance of geocaches. Some you can hike to and some you can kayak to. In fact, there are so many caches that a moratorium has been placed on any new caches. Only when a cache is archived can another be placed. Still, there's enough to keep a cacher busy for more than a few outings.
We had a fun day. The weather cooperated and despite more than a few ticks, everyone went home feeling good about cleaning the environment and spending time with fellow geocachers. We were also able to claim three FTFs as part of the CITO.
Today's Cache Finds:
1. Harris Lake 10th Anniversary CITO
2. Flying Horsegeeks FTF
3. When Pigs Fly FTF
4. Mark William Calaway FTF
Other Caches Found This Trip:
1. Want Fries with that Shake?
2. Jones Dolphin
3. Have You Seen The Crocodile? Cache Again
4. Zeke's Driftwood Dolphin
5. Pink Dolphin Diamond
6. Exercise Every Day
7. Just Barking Up The Wrong Tree
8. Looking for a Slice of the Good Life

Sound like a great time. That's so good of all of you to contribute.
