A very busy holiday weekend. Leann & Andrew arrived on Thursday afternoon and immediately the geocaching began. Andrew and I had been thinking about creating a cache at a gazebo where we like to crab so we headed out to try and come up with a plan for that. The gazebo is situated at the end of a boardwalk that extends out into the Albemarle Sound. It's a popular spot for those looking to catch a few blue crabs for a meal and a great location to watch the sun set over the sound. After placing the cache and submitting it for review and publication we grabbed a few finds for Andrew.
Friday morning we decided to attempt a few cache finds over on Roanoke Island, one of which is a big favorite of ours and we were hoping Andrew and Leann would enjoy it as well. There's nothing complicated about it, but the hide is pure genius in its simplicity. Here's a few photos of Andrew at

The library cache looks awesome. I want to find one of those one day just because it seems really quite cool.
